BOB Dylan fans will not be allowed to take mobile phones into a Bournemouth concert venue when the legendary singer performs tonight.

Bh Live has warned that cell phones, cameras or recording devices will not be permitted inside BIC’s Windsor Hall.

A customer notice posted on social media by Bh Live on Friday read: “If you are attending Bob Dylan on Saturday November 5, please note that no cameras or cell phone recording devices will be allowed inside Windsor Hall for this event.

“Once you arrive on the scene, Yondr will have their dedicated staff on hand to help you put your phone in a locked and secure pouch that you will keep with you throughout the evening.”

He continues: “You can unlock your telephone picket at any time by going to a dedicated and signposted area, intended for telephone use. Feel free to ask a Yondr staff member to help you.”

Bob Dylan, 81, is due to take the stage at BIC tonight at 8 p.m. as part of his Rough and Rowdy Ways World Tour.

A statement on the BIC website reads: “Having created this phone-free experience on recent tours, we believe it creates better times for all involved.

“Our eyes open a little more and our senses are slightly sharper when we lose the technological crutch we’ve grown accustomed to.

“And yes, it’s a non-negotiable deal (although medical exemptions are made for those who rely on their phones for treatment).”

The Like a Rolling Stone singer has banned mobile phones from his UK concerts, which included dates at the London Palladium and the Hull Bonus Arena.

The tour ends in Dublin on November 7.
