Three arrested for snatching cellphones from girls

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Three youths have been arrested for snatching cellphones from girls in the Sanyogitaganj area, police said on Sunday. The defendant reportedly confessed to snatching mobile phones from 11 people in the city. Further investigation is underway into the case.

Sanyogitaganj Police Station Chief Tahjib Kaji said reports had been received that some youths were active in snatching cellphones, especially from girls in the area. A team has been formed to keep an eye out for suspects in civilian clothes. The police team had received a bicycle number and were looking for the accused.

During the investigation, the police checked more than 100 surveillance cameras installed in the area and managed to arrest three people named Rishi alias Goldy, a resident of Bhuri Tekri in Manavta Nagar area, Akash alias Bavadi from the Pipliyahana region and Dheeraj alias Abhishek from Kailashpuri region. town.

The accused reportedly confessed to stealing 11 cell phones from different areas of the city. Defendant Rishi was arrested earlier by staff from Tilak Nagar Police Station in connection with a stolen cellphone. After being released from prison, he resumed committing such crimes with two other defendants. Kaji said they mainly target girls.
